Job summary

MWR Recreational Lodging at Naval Base Point Loma is seeking a housekeeping team member to provide quality and efficient cleaning services to guests staying in RV parks, cottages, cabins, townhomes, and campgrounds.

You will follow the Recreational Lodging Housekeeping Manual, operate in-room appliances, use PMS/POS to update room status, prepare daily reports, and prioritize tasks while maintaining top customer service and clear English communication with management and guests.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safe chemical handling (SDS).
• Ability to operate in-room appliances (coffee maker, TV, clock radio, etc.).
• Ability to use PMS/POS to update room status.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and efficient housekeeping to guests.
• Maintain high levels of customer service.
• Update room status using PMS/POS and in-room phone system.
• Complete daily room status reports and housekeeping assignment sheets.
• Interpret, execute, and document cleaning actions per housekeeping manual and program policy.
• Prioritize work to honor No Service/Do-Not-Disturb requests while meeting standards.
• Communicate clearly in English with management, staff, and guests.
