Job summary

Yonkers Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Recreation Aide to assist in planning and leading recreational activities for residents at our Yonkers, NY facility. The position offers a part-time schedule from 9am to 5pm and weekends, with per diem availability.

You will support social engagement, ensure safety, and tailor activities to residents' needs, while maintaining accurate participation records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
