Job summary

Hudson Hill Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Yonkers, NY is seeking vivacious Recreation Aides who are engaged, resident-focused, and ready to join a dynamic team. This part-time role supports planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs tailored to each resident’s assessment and care plan.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in Long Term Care Activities Department preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Patient and enthusiastic with ability to engage residents at varying maturity levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs.
• Follow resident assessments and care plans under supervisor guidance.
• Contribute to a welcoming, resident-centered activity program.

Part time: 4 pm-8 pm, weekends required

ACTIVITIES AIDE REQUIREMENTS:
