Job summary

Florence Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to enhance patient experiences by designing engaging activities and supporting daily living tasks. You will help patients participate in social events, lead group activities, and work closely with therapists and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement recreational activities, including arts and crafts, games, and social events.
• Lead group classes and individual activities, such as exercise programs, music therapy, and pet therapy.
• Provide individualized support to patients with diverse needs, including dementia, spinal cord injuries, and amputations.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of patient activities and progress.
