Qualifications

• Certified Recreation Therapist with a Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation and 2+ years of experience.
• Art Therapist with a Master’s in Art Therapy and 1,000 hours post-graduate clinical experience (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a therapeutic recreation program for adults and adolescents with psychiatric and/or chemical dependency patients.
• Ability to teach patients leisure skills and foster mastery over their environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide activity therapy services for individuals and/or groups to support physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being.
• Provide recreational assessments as needed and participate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to integrate services.
