Our Lady of Consolation, part of Catholic Health, seeks a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist to assess residents’ needs and develop engaging therapeutic programs within a nursing home setting.
You will work with Memory Care residents, attend care plan meetings, and document progress in EMR/MDS. The role includes planning events, coordinating outings, and ensuring safe transport of residents to activities.

The Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) is responsible for assessing residents’ recreational, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs and developing therapeutic recreation programs that enhance quality of life, promote independence, and support psychosocial well-being within the nursing home setting. The CTRS works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to provide meaningful activities and therapeutic interventions for residents.
USD $33.90 - USD $45.20 /Hr.
The pay for this position ranges from $33.90-$45.20 per hour.
