Job summary

Three Pillars Senior Living Communities in Wisconsin is seeking a Recreation Specialist to develop and implement engaging activities for residents. You will handle documentation, scheduling, and data entry for a defined caseload while ensuring safe resident transport to programs.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 1 year in a senior living setting, and comfort with Microsoft Office, iPad usage, and Crestron systems. A Wisconsin driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational, Music or Art Therapy, COTA, or related field required.
• 1+ years' experience in a senior living setting preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, basic knowledge of iPad functions, ability to learn technology systems.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license.

Responsibilities

• MDS, documentation, assessment completion and data entry for assigned caseload.
• Transport residents to/from programming safely.
• Implement programming on the calendar, LEADS activities daily.
• Help with planning specialized programs per manager.
• Record program attendance.
• Cover for department manager during vacations.
• Creation and maintenance of activity resources, packets, schedules, lists for resident use.
• Use technology devices to create and execute programming including laptop, iPad, Crestron system.
• Assist with special campus events.
• Drive campus shuttle cart or possibly other facility vehicles for resident tours on occasion.
• Works with volunteers to execute programming and events.

Education
