Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 30 hours of continuing education; preferably recreation, education, or human services required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience planning and implementing recreational activities, one year as a supervisor required.
• Minimum 21 years of age; CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community recreation programs and events.
• Market programs, seek sponsorships, and interpret center policies and regulations.
• Provide supervision to staff and volunteers and handle cash transactions.
• Assist with budget preparation and fiscal accountability; prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
