Job summary

The City of Conroe is seeking an Enrichment Program Assistant assigned to the Oscar Johnson Jr Enrichment & Recreation Center. Under supervision, you will deliver programs and events to the public, open and close facilities, plan and set up activities, and help with supplies and safety of participants.

Qualifications include cash handling, experience with children, strong communication and customer service, and the ability to obtain required certifications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic cash handling.
• Experience with public programs/events.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service.
• Ability to obtain relevant certifications within the time period designated by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver programs and events to the public under supervision.
• Open and close facilities; assist with planning, gathering and organizing supplies/equipment; set-up and take-down for programs and events.
• Follow City and Center policies and procedures; care and safety of participants.
