Job summary

The City of Conroe seeks an Enrichment & Recreation staff member assigned to the Oscar Johnson Jr Enrichment & Recreation Center. You will deliver programs and events to the public, open and close facilities, set up activities, and supervise participants to ensure safety and order.

Responsibilities include planning, gathering supplies, coordinating with volunteers, handling cash where needed, and maintaining compliance with city policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in public program/event delivery and staff supervision.
• Experience in working with children.
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service.
• Knowledge of cash handling.

Responsibilities

• The position delivers programs and events to the public.
• Opens and closes facilities and assists with planning and setup.
• Plans and gathers supplies/equipment, assigns duties and manages take-down.
• Performs cursory cleanup and ensures safety and policy compliance.
