Job summary

City of Logan Parks and Recreation – Recreation Division is seeking a part-time coordinator. Under general supervision, you will coordinate, promote, oversee, evaluate, and perform a wide variety of tasks related to recreation programs.

You will schedule activities such as pickleball, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball and flag football for youth and adults, coordinate officials and volunteers, and prepare facilities as needed, ensuring a safe environment and positive sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Red Cross CPR Certification highly desired; may be obtained within three months.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, promote, oversee, and perform a wide variety of recreation tasks for Logan Parks & Recreation – Recreation Division.
• Monitor, facilitate and schedule activities like pickleball, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball and flag football for youth and adults.
• Monitor officials and volunteers and prepare facilities for programming; ensure a safe environment and promote safety and sportsmanship.
