Job summary

The City of Grapevine's Parks and Recreation department is seeking an RCA I to support The REC, Reservations, Active Adults, Athletics, Aquatics, Outdoor Recreation classes and Community Events. You will assist with daily operations and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include helping with registrations, event setup and tear down, enforcing safety protocols, and performing light maintenance in facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 18 years of age or 2 years of full-time equivalent RCA I experience.
• Must have physical ability to work outdoors.
• CPR certification must be possessed or obtained upon hire.
• Must pass a Federal/National criminal background check and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Attends to daily operation of facilities and programs, including opening/closing duties.
• Assists with program registrations and event set up/tear down.
• Provides excellent customer service by answering questions timely.
• Performs general maintenance and housekeeping in facilities.
• Ensures safety protocols for all spectators and participants.
