Job summary

Campbell County is seeking a Program Monitor to provide a safe, positive, and organized environment for participants and spectators in recreation programs and facilities. You will assist with supervision, facility monitoring, customer service, equipment setup and teardown, and enforcement of department policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring programs and events, enforcing rules, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, addressing concerns professionally, assisting with setup and teardown,

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment in stressful situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with participants, spectators, officials, and staff.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to enforce policies and procedures fairly and consistently.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of assigned recreation programs and activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned recreation programs, events, and facilities.
• Enforce department policies, facility rules, and program guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for participants and spectators.
• Address participant, spectator, and customer concerns in a professional manner.
• Assist with program, event, and facility setup and teardown.
• Distribute, collect, and maintain recreation equipment and supplies.
• Provide information regarding programs, schedules, and facility operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
