PROGRAM COORDINATOR - RECREATION DEPARTMENT

The Town of Sandwich, MA has an immediate opening for a full-time, 40 hour per week Program Coordinator. Position requires the following, but not limited to:

• Position assists in developing, implementing and coordinating diverse, inclusive and cost-effective recreational programs and events to meet community needs.
• Researches and adapts new techniques and best practices for program improvements.
• Some evening, weekend and holiday work required
• Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, be responsible, flexible, have excellent communication skills as well as excellent computer skills, be friendly, high energy, be creative and have the demonstrated ability to relate effectively with people.
• Bachelor’s Degree in recreation, therapeutic recreation, physical education or an equivalent combination of background and education.
• Must be CPR Certified and be familiar with ADA requirements.

Salary: $30.00 per hour with excellent benefits. Sandwich is an EOE/AA Employer.
