Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, coordination, and implementation of recreation programs and activities for residents of all ages.
• Coordinate program schedules, logistics, registrations, and related administrative activities.
• Research community interests and emerging recreation trends to identify opportunities for new and innovative programs.
• Assist with developing and launching new programs and initiatives that respond to community needs.
• Promote recreation programs and events through social media, newsletters, websites, print materials, and other communication channels.
• Track participation, program outcomes, and community feedback to help evaluate and improve offerings.
• Collaborate with Town staff, community organizations, vendors, instructors, volunteers, and other partners.
• Support special events and other community-focused initiatives.

The Recreation Services Coordinator plays an important role in connecting residents with programs, activities, and events that enhance quality of life and strengthen community connections. This is a communications-focused and highly collaborative position responsible for researching, developing, promoting, coordinating, and evaluating recreation programs and events.

Key responsibilities include:
