Job summary

Commander, Navy Installations Command in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Community Recreation worker to support the MWR Liberty program and related events at Naval Air Station/JRB Fort Worth. You will assist with information services, facility operations, registrations, and daily sales using POS and DAR reporting.

The role emphasizes customer service, inventory control, and coordination of workshops and outings, with a flexible schedule and potential 20–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• This position requires an associate's degree if applicant does not possess experience required in assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service, information and support of Community Recreation programs and activities.
• Service to MWR customers includes checking patron eligibility, providing information about activities, opening/closing facilities, and handling sales and rentals using POS systems.
• Collects fees, completes Daily Activity Reports, assists with event registrations and equipment check-in/check-out.
• Performs inventory, repairs as needed, and assists with administration of multiple programs and staff scheduling.
• Develops partnerships and conducts community outreach to promote MWR facilities and events.
