Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is hiring a Pool and Beach Server to greet guests, describe menu items, and deliver food and beverages with impeccable service. You will use Micros for orders and maintain a clean, well-stocked station in an active outdoor setting.

Weekends/holidays required; Hawaii work authorization and a passion for guest experiences are essential. The role offers competitive hourly pay and extensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests proactively and provide menu and QR code information.
• Describe pool hours, offerings, and daily specials with vivid details.
• Take guest orders, communicate with kitchen/bar via Micros, and deliver meals.
• Coordinate timing of food and beverage service to guests.
• Ensure quality by checking items after delivery and anticipating needs.
• Close guest checks and process payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned area daily.
• Provide Forbes 5 Star service and uphold Standards.

POOL AND BEACH SERVER

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Pool and Beach Server who share s a passion for excellence and who infuse s enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Pool and Beach Server s have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge o f the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Proactively greet guests, drop off a QR code/menu, introduce yourself and inform them that you will be taking care of them for the day . After introduction , use guest name during interaction.
• Accurately describe your pool's hours of service, offerings , and specials of the day.
• Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste and preparation methods; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen/ bar using the resorts Micros.
• Coordinate food & beverage timings and deliver items within the proper timing standards.
• Ensure proper quality of orders by checking on previously delivered items
• Anticipate guest needs and offer suggestions that will enhance their experience. Respond to guest requests and concerns urgently and appropriately.
• Manage designated section and continuously checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction .
• Detail your area daily to ensure your space is clean and organized as well as ensuring the area is fully stocked with necessary inventory.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks and complimentary meals.
• Complete closing paperwork and accurately tip out the appropriate food runner and bar staff.
• Ensure every interaction is a Forbes 5 Star experience. Learn and maintain our Pool and Beach 38 Forbes standards.
• Successfully working as a team to ensure guest experience is a priori ty .
• You will be working in an active outdoor environment, so you must be able to stand for long periods of time .

WHAT TO BRING

• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required .
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
• Weekend & Holiday availability required
