Quail Run Hospital in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Recreation Therapist to plan and run therapeutic recreation, music, and art groups as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team. You will develop and implement treatment goals, observe patient responses, and provide continuous patient care and role modeling.

The role emphasizes documentation, assessment of psychosocial and leisure skills, and collaboration with other clinicians to tailor interventions for psychiatric and related conditions.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Music, or Recreation Therapy, or related therapeutic discipline.
• Certification or licensure in Recreation, Music Therapy or Expressive Arts (CTRS, MT-BC or REAT) Required.
• One year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques.
• Handle With Care and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Providers required.
• Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Plan and implement recreation/music therapy for assigned units.
• Documentation of master treatment plan interventions and patient progress.
• Assessment in psychosocial/leisure and recreational skills development/deficiency.
• Contribute to treatment plan with goals and interventions for therapy.
• Maintain daily progress notes and provide feedback to the team.
