The City of Benicia is seeking Recreation Leaders to supervise children aged 6–12 in the Parks & Community Services Department. Under the direction of the Recreation Specialist, you will help plan daily activities such as arts and crafts, games, and special events.
Standard First Aid and CPR certifications are required once hired; the position is a mandated reporter role. Applicants must be at least 15 years old, with prior child care experience preferred.

The program runs Monday through Thursday from 1:15 pm - 6:30 pm and Fridays from 11:00 am - 6:30 pm. The applicant MUST be available during these hours.
Under the direction of the Recreation Specialist, Recreation Leaders will be responsible for the supervision of children (6 – 12 years of age) in the Benicia Parks & Community Services Department. Job duties include planning and scheduling daily activities such as arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, low-key sports activities, and special events.
