The Community Services Department (CSD) offers a wide range of programs including youth summer camps, youth sports, contracted classes, and large special events. CSD also manages daily operations of city facilities and parks to provide quality spaces for community gathering. Depending on your qualifications and interests, Recreation Leaders may be assigned to summer camps, facility operations, special events, or as park monitors.

Qualifications include: Completion of 12th grade and some experience in group recreation leadership or related training.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Understanding of rules for athletic and recreational activities; ability to follow instructions; work safely and efficiently.
Physical Demands: Standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and leading activities.
Working Conditions: Mostly in a clean environment; outdoor work possible during evenings and weekends.
