Job summary

Hopkins Center is seeking a Recreation Leader to provide therapeutic recreation services for residents. The role runs 11:00am–7:00pm, Sunday through Thursday, in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field; CTRS preferred. 3–5 years of experience, with strong documentation, assessments, and individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field is required.
• CTRS certification is preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years of experience in Therapeutic Recreation, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Ability to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate individual and group recreation therapy interventions.
• Proficient in documentation, including assessments, progress notes, and care plans.
• Must be able to create individualized care plan goals and appropriate intervention.

POSITION: Recreation Leader
SHIFT: 11:00am to 7:00pm
SCHEDULE: Sunday to Thursday

• College / Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field required
• CTRS certification preferred but not required
• 3-5 years of experience in Therapeutic Recreation, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Ability to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate individual and group recreation therapy interventions
• Proficient in documentation, including assessments, progress notes, and care plans
