Job summary

The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, is seeking qualified individuals for the Recreation Fee Clerk & Technician role to support ICTAP/CTAP priority lists.

This is a nationwide vacancy with location negotiable across parks; candidates must be current surplus or displaced Federal employees. Duties include front-line visitor services, cash handling, audits, reporting, and system checks; training and occasional on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• ICTAP/CTAP eligibility required.
• Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as front-line, uniformed representative of the NPS, answering visitor questions and explaining recreational opportunities.
• Handle funds and perform duties in accordance with NPS and U.S. Treasury regulations; operate cash receipts and POS systems where applicable.
• Assist with auditing fee program components, prepare remittance reports and bank deposits, and review and resolve discrepancies.
