Job Description

Provide a unique guest experience through beach service, pool service, poolside activities, and holiday events.

Responsibilities

1. Assist guests at the pool and beach, providing property information, directions, rental equipment, and enthusiastic customer service.
2. Make reservations for pool and beach rentals, including cabanas, loungers, and chairs.
3. Manage the reservation process from guest interaction to input into Xola, setup, signing, and charging in ResortSuite.
4. Supply guests with clean towels and clear away used towels, plates, and cups.
5. Assist with routine cleaning of pools and equipment, including sweeping, trash removal, and organizing.
6. Participate in monthly team meetings.
7. Handle opening and closing procedures of recreation facilities, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
8. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and guests.
9. Engage with guests during family activities, holiday events, and recreational programming.

Hotel Specific Essential Functions

1. Assist in all recreation department tasks as needed.
2. Greet guests and assist with questions or reservations.
3. Ensure guest safety at all times.
4. Work scheduled holiday programs.
5. Enhance guest experiences through engaging interactions.

Qualifications

Tools and Equipment: Computer, ResortSuite, Xola, Outlook, basic tools, drills, augers, shovels, surfboards, paddleboards, beach carts, towel bins.

Working Environment: Indoor and outdoor settings, exposure to weather, hot and cold temperatures, pool and beach locations, storage areas, guest areas.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, stoop, push, pull, and walk for extended periods.
