Recreation Experience Attendant | Seasonal

Job Description

To provide a unique experience by offering a variety of services including beach service, pool service, poolside activities, and holiday events.

Responsibilities
  • Assist guests at the pool and beach by providing property information, directions, rental equipment, and escorting them while delivering enthusiastic customer service.
  • Make reservations for pool and beach rentals, including cabanas, loungers, and beach chairs.
  • Manage the reservation process from start to finish, including guest interaction, inputting reservations into Xola, setting up rentals, obtaining signatures, and processing payments in ResortSuite.
  • Ensure guests have clean towels during service hours, and clear used towels, plates, and cups.
  • Assist with routine cleaning of the pool and equipment, including sweeping, trash removal, towel organization, and inventory management.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings, such as the All Together Get Together.
  • Handle opening and closing procedures of recreation facilities, including setup, breakdown, and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members, management, and guests.
  • Uphold Omni's culture and engage with guests through family activities, holiday events, and group recreation programming.

Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

  • Assist in all other recreation department tasks as needed.
  • Greet and assist guests with questions or reservations.
  • Participate actively in guest safety assurance.
  • Work scheduled holiday programs.
  • Enhance guest experience through engaging interactions.
Qualifications

Tools and Equipment:

Computer programs including ResortSuite, Xola, Outlook; basic tools; drills; augers; shovels; surfboards; paddleboards; beach carts; towel bins.

  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures.
  • Work locations include pool and beach areas, storage, and guest spaces.

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stoop, stand, push, pull, and walk or stand for extended periods.
