Job summary

Army Non‑Appropriated Funds (NAF) at Fort Riley, KS is seeking a Regular Full‑Time staff member to support patron services in a busy facility. You will circulate among patrons to ensure satisfaction, help with equipment checkout, provide safety instructions, and assist with events.

Responsibilities include assisting patrons, teaching classes, and coordinating activities while performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks in accordance with AR 215‑3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.
• Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
• Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned
