Job summary

United States Army Installation Management Command operates Fort Riley Warrior Zone to provide a recreational venue for soldiers. The position requires planning, organizing and overseeing a recreational program, with emphasis on sound budget and scheduling practices.

Highly preferred candidates will be referred to management first and should show at least two years of experience in entertainment facility operations, financial analysis, marketing, or program execution.

This position is located at: Warrior Zone - Fort Riley, Kansas. Join our team at Fort Riley Warrior Zone, designed to give our soldiers a place to relax and have a good time. This announcement will have a cut-off after one week. Qualified applicants at cutoff date, will be forwarded to management first.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Directly related work experience provided the applicant the ability, knowledge, skills, principles, methods and techniques to plan, organize, coordinate, supervise and evaluate a recreational program.

• Minimum of 2 years experience managing or directing an entertainment facility to include food and beverage operations.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with financial analysis, budget development and execution and food and labor cost management.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with marketing and executing programs and events.
