Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation, hospitality management, sports management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA, with upperclassman status preferred, particularly for experiential requirements.
• Continuous authorization to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.
• Fluency in English and strong verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

As a Recreation Entertainment Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience creating interactive programming, facilitating activities, and engaging guests and members across The Peak and the resort’s expansive 2,200-acre recreational division. What You Will Create

• Energetic poolside experiences as you engage guests, facilitate interactive entertainment, and create an atmosphere that encourages participation, connection, and fun
• Engaging recreational programming through gameshow-style programming, recreational events, and other interactive experiences designed to keep guests actively involved
• Memorable member experiences as you collaborate with the Membership Team to bring activity programming and exclusive events to life for the resort’s membership community

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s degree program in parks and recreation, hospitality management, sports management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3.0 GPA, with upperclassman status preferred, particularly for students seeking to fulfill experiential educational requirements during their junior or senior year
• Previous recreation and customer service experience preferred
• Commitment to completing a consecutive 12‑week internship, as required by the intern rotation
• Continuous authorization to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship
• Fluency in English and strong verbal communication skills required
• Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, while maintaining the energy, physical stamina, and composure required in an active, guest‑facing environment
• Ability to stand for up to eight hours at a time and remain effective in high‑pressure situations
