Job summary

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, PA invites applications for a Recreation Entertainment Intern for Summer 2027. You will help create interactive programming, host activities, and engage guests across The Peak and the resort’s expansive 2,200-acre recreational division.

This paid, 12-week internship offers hands-on experience in hosting, hospitality, and event planning within a Forbes- and AAA-rated luxury environment. Evening/weekend availability and U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation, hospitality management, sports management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA, with upperclassman status preferred, particularly for experiential requirements.
• Continuous authorization to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.
• Fluency in English and strong verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create interactive programming and facilitate activities to engage guests and members.
• Collaborate with the Membership Team to bring activity programming and exclusive events to life.
• Host entertainment activities across The Peak and the resort’s recreational division.
• Expose a range of offerings, including games, events, and interactive experiences.
• Apply academic learning to real-world recreation and tourism during a dedicated experiential project.
