What You Will Create
  • Exceptional golf experiences as you welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and deliver polished, personalized service from arrival through their time on the course
  • A seamless daily operation as you organize tee sheets, respond to guest needs, stage the golf cart fleet, and help ensure each day is prepared with precision and efficiency
  • A well-paced course experience as you monitor pace of play and develop daily recaps that provide insight into operational performance
  • Tournament experiences executed with precision as you support tournament setup and help transform daily operations to meet the needs of groups and large-scale buyouts
  • Meaningful instructional experiences as you support weekly group lessons and gain practical exposure to golf instruction through The Nemacolin Golf Academy
  • A prepared, inviting practice environment as you support driving range operations and help create a consistent experience for guests developing their game
  • A stronger foundation for your golf career through exposure to the many disciplines of golf operations and opportunities to apply your academic knowledge in a premier resort setting
What You Can Expect
  • A 12-week, full-time paid internship with consecutive participation expected throughout the program
  • Hands-on experience across two distinguished Pete Dye-designed golf courses and a state-of-the-art golf academy
  • An immersive luxury hospitality environment where golf operations and exceptional guest service intersect
  • Exposure to the complexity and energy of tournaments and large-scale group buyouts, extending your understanding beyond the traditional daily guest experience
  • Practical experience across guest service, course operations, tournament support, instruction, tee-time coordination, driving range operations, and pace-of-play management
  • The opportunity to work alongside experienced golf professionals who expect professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility, and a commitment to polished service
  • A dynamic seasonal environment where operational needs can shift throughout the day and during peak periods, requiring focus, adaptability, and sound judgment

  • A natural service mindset and the confidence to interact professionally with guests while recognizing how small details shape the overall experience
  • A willingness to learn across different areas of the operation and contribute wherever guest and business needs are greatest
  • Strong organizational instincts and attention to detail, particularly when coordinating tee sheets, tournament preparations, golf carts, and daily operations
  • The ability to remain composed and adaptable in a fast-paced seasonal environment where priorities can change quickly
  • A professional presence and positive attitude that reflect the standards of a luxury resort and the expectations of discerning golf clientele
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to turn academic experience into practical knowledge that can support a long-term career in golf, sports, or hospitality
Qualifications
