City of Atlanta is hiring a Recreation Operations Assistant to help keep our recreation centers running smoothly. You will handle a mix of administrative tasks, assist with program activities, coordinate with staff, and ensure a welcoming environment for seniors, adults, and children.

Knowledge of youth programs and recreation activities preferred.

Responsibilities

Work cooperatively with Recreation Center administration and staff.
Enforce State of Georgia and City vehicle operation and safety guidelines.
Enforce meal program rules and guidelines.
Assist with meal program implementation and reporting.
Support staff, volunteers, and participants in programs.
Assist with equipment setup and breakdown for programs/events.
Enforce rules for health and safety of patrons.
Maintain cleanliness of the recreation center and tennis courts.
Provide excellent customer service and a welcoming environment.
Contribute to program development including arts, crafts, games, and exercise activities.
May perform other duties as assigned.
