Salary Range: $41,420 - 50,000/annually
Performs a variety of administrative/clerical duties to support a Recreation Center. Assists with developing, planning, and promoting recreational programs to serve the surrounding community while ensuring facility is clean, well- organized, and safe for patron use. This is an experienced senior level position capable of carrying out most assignments with limited guidance or review. This level would be considered a promotional level and attainable by any incumbents in a work group who demonstrate the necessary knowledge, ability, and performance.
Works under minimal supervision; can set own work sequence and pace within process/department limitations

Education and Experience –
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED);
Two (2) years of directly related work experience.
Licensures and Certifications - Valid Georgia Driver’s License is required; must not have any major accidents or moving violations within the last three years.
Preferred Requirements - Completion of technical course or associates degree in child development , human services, or related field; and three (3) – five (5) years of directly related work experience.
Required physical, lifting, and sensory capabilities are requirements to perform the job successfully. Typical environmental conditions associated with job.
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects.
This position follows the City’s hybrid work schedule policy as assigned by the Department of Human Resources Commissioner and requires in-person work at City worksites/facilities at least four (4) days per week, with the option to work remotely one (1) day per week, based on eligibility, departmental needs, and supervisor approval. The hybrid work schedule is subject to change at any time to five (5) days in-person work.
