Job summary

Mt. Lebanon Recreation Center is seeking a part-time Maintenance Person to care for the town's recreation facilities year-round. Average hours are 28 per week with shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include startup, operation, routine repairs, and custodial duties for all facilities, including ice rink and pool areas. Candidates must be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have a PA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of facilities maintenance experience preferred (ice rink, pool or similar).
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license required at appointment and maintained.
• Pesticide Technician License desired (additional compensation).

Responsibilities

• Assist with start up, seasonal operation, general operation, and closing of facilities.
• Assist with special event setups.
• Perform daily building repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain ice rink and pool facilities.
• Assist with machinery and equipment repairs as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all facilities.
