Job summary

Mt. Lebanon is seeking a part-time Recreation Center Skate Guard to ensure skater safety and proper operation of the facility. You will enforce rink rules, monitor ice conditions, and assist with cleaning and event setup in a busy Community Center environment.

Role requires skating ability and knowledge of ice operations; CPR/AED is preferred. Flexible hours, with background clearances required for work with minors; contact [e-mail] for details.

Qualifications

• Skating ability is required and safety-conscious.
• CPR/AED certification is desirable.
• Experience with facility operations is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervises skaters and enforces rules during skating sessions.
• Monitors condition of ice surfaces during public skating.
• Monitors lobby, bleachers and Community Center areas.
• Assists in cleaning operation of all facilities.
• Assists in special event set-ups and operations.
• Ensures facility is clean and sanitary.
• Distributes and maintains rental skates.
• Handles emergency situations.
• Interacts with customers and helps ensure their satisfaction.
