Job summary

Mt. Lebanon Recreation Center is seeking a part-time Maintenance Person for year-round operations, averaging about 28 hours per week. Shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be 18+ due to ice rink equipment. Background clearances are required by state law, with potential reimbursement after one month. This role covers start-up, operation, and closing of facilities, plus specials like events, repairs, custodial tasks, and routine cleaning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of facilities maintenance experience preferred (ice rink or pool exposure).
• Valid PA driver's license required at appointment.
• Pesticide Technician license desired (may affect compensation).

Responsibilities

• Assist in start up, seasonal operation, and closing of facilities.
• Assist in special event set-ups.
• Perform daily building repairs and maintenance.
• Ice rink maintenance (cutting and edging).
• Swimming pool maintenance.
• Assist with machinery repairs and other projects.
• Maintain cleanliness and repair of facilities.
• Custodial duties.
