Job summary

Pacific Air Forces is seeking a part-time position at the Arts & Crafts Center on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Alaska. The role supports program development in an Arts & Crafts environment with exposure to pottery, fabric crafts, drawing, ceramics, jewelry, painting, engraving, framing, and glass crafts.

Applicants must be able to read, write, spell, and perform basic math; stand, walk, and stoop for extended periods; and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in program development in an Arts & Crafts environment is desired.
• Working knowledge of classes typically taught in an Arts & Crafts center (pottery, fabric crafts, drawing, ceramics, jewelry, painting, engraving, framing, glass crafts).
• Must be able to read, write, spell and figure basic math and measurements.
• Must have a clear speaking voice and be able to deal with the public.
• May work uncommon work schedule, including weekends.
• Requires continuous standing, walking, and stooping.
• Must be physically able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Investigation.

About the position:

This position is Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Arts & Crafts Center on JBER, AK. Regular Part-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 20 hours per week to a maximum of 34 hours per week. You are eligible for the following benefits and compensation:
