Job summary

Pacific Air Forces is seeking a part-time position at the Arts & Crafts Center on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Alaska. The role supports program development in an Arts & Crafts environment with exposure to pottery, fabric crafts, drawing, ceramics, jewelry, painting, engraving, framing, and glass crafts.

Applicants must be able to read, write, spell, and perform basic math; stand, walk, and stoop for extended periods; and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Experience in program development in an Arts & Crafts environment is desired.
Working knowledge of classes typically taught in an Arts & Crafts center (pottery, fabric crafts, drawing, ceramics, jewelry, painting, engraving, framing, glass crafts).
Must be able to read, write, spell and figure basic math and measurements.
Must have a clear speaking voice and be able to deal with the public.
May work uncommon work schedule, including weekends.
Requires continuous standing, walking, and stooping.
Must be physically able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Investigation.
