Job summary

NeighborHealth in Winthrop, MA, is seeking a Recreation Activities Specialist to support the PACE Center's therapeutic recreation initiatives. The role focuses on facilitating participant engagement and ensuring activities align with individualized care plans and interdisciplinary goals.

You will supervise and guide personal care assistants, maintain compliance with CMS and PACE policies, and help create a welcoming, person-centered program for elders and frail adults in a fast-paced aging

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• HHA, CNA, or National Activities professional certification.
• Two years’ experience working with elders or frail population.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport.
• Experience leading small and large groups.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Professional discretion with sensitive matters.
• Willingness to be flexible, reliable, and organized.
• Bilingual a plus.

Schedule: 5 Days: On-Site. 7:30 am – 4:00 Mon-Fri
