Description

Position: Recreation Assistant

Pay: $12 hour Depending On Experience

NHC Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN has a need for a Recreation Assistant to join our team. We are seeking an individual that wants to work in a team atmosphere and provide quality services to our seniors.

The qualified applicant must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate, caring, and creative. The Recreation Assistant must be creative, energetic, and have knowledge of the domains of wellness as it relates to programming in long-term care. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide daily meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

The right candidate will:

  1. Promote and lead recreational programs on a daily basis
  2. Assist with documentation including attendance, assessments, and progress notes

Requirements:

  1. Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and be a team player
  2. 1 year of experience working with the elderly in a long-term care setting preferred, but not required.
