Performs responsible work facilitating recreational activities for nursing home residents, specifically those on the Special Care Unit, in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Graduation from high school and completion of one college level course in Therapeutic Recreation or closely related field, plus 1 year of work experience providing recreational or therapeutic programs to the elderly, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
