St Mary Center is seeking a part-time Recreation Aide to plan and lead engaging activities for residents in a supportive, friendly environment. The role emphasizes social interaction, individual and group programming, and contributing to a warm, caring atmosphere.

Typical hours are 9am–5pm with every other weekend. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required; experience with elderly and dementia-care is preferred.

• Must be computer-literate with Word, Outlook and basic software skills.
• Experience with elderly and dementia-care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and executing recreational activities based on residents' needs and interests.
• Encourages social interaction and communication between residents through group activities.
• Facilitates recreational programs on individual and group bases.
