Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center in Hazlet, NJ is seeking a Recreation Aide for a Full-Time role. Pay is $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead individual and group recreational activities.
• Facilitate cognitive, physical, social, and leisure programs.
• Coordinate monthly events, holidays, and special activities.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to residents’ needs.
• Build positive relationships and promote a welcoming environment.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities as needed.
• Maintain supplies and keep activity areas clean and organized.
• Observe residents and report concerns to staff.
• Ensure safety, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead individual and group recreational activities.
• Facilitate cognitive, physical, social, and leisure programs that promote resident engagement.
• Assist with coordinating monthly events, holiday celebrations, and special activities.
• Encourage resident participation while adapting activities to individual interests, abilities, and needs.
• Build positive relationships with residents and promote a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Assist with transporting residents to and from activities as needed.
• Maintain activity supplies and ensure activity areas remain clean and organized.
• Observe residents during activities and report any concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Ensure resident safety, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to enhance residents' quality of life.
