Job summary

Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Recreation Aide to design and carry out engaging activities that enrich residents’ lives. The role supports physical, emotional, and social well-being within a resident-centered care environment.

You will plan, lead, and tailor activities, work with residents and families, and collaborate with staff to ensure safe and meaningful experiences, including outings and on-site programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreation programs.

• Observe, document, and report resident participation, mood, and behavior.
• Accompany and assist residents during outings, field trips, and walks.
• Transport residents within the facility to and from activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.
