Job summary

Candlewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Full-time Recreation Aide to join our caring Recreation team. You will plan and implement engaging activities that promote socialization, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation for residents.

In this role you will adapt programs to residents’ needs, build rapport with families and staff, and maintain records of participation while contributing to a warm, supportive community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; associate degree or certification preferred.
• Healthcare or recreational programming experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and balance competing priorities.
• Proficient with basic computer applications.

As a Recreation Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents by planning and implementing recreational programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation.
