Job summary

Majestic Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a friendly Recreation Aide to support residents' physical, mental and psychosocial well-being through an engaging activities program in a 180-bed skilled nursing setting. Experience in long-term care is preferred, and the candidate should be energetic and caring.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing activity plans, maintaining supplies, documenting attendance, and providing one-on-one visits.

Qualifications

• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Available to work days and some evenings.
• Must be 18 years old or older.

• Generate activity supply lists and maintain supplies and equipment in a safe and functional order.
• Consistently maintain proper documentation including daily attendance sheets and friendly visits.

Majestic Oaks nursing and Rehabilitation is a 180-bed skilled nursing center with both long term and sub-acute patients. The facility has a great team of nurses and activity aides which get plenty of guidance and education from a superior nursing support team with well qualified nurse educators. Ideal Recreation Aide candidate should have experience in long term care environment, be energetic and caring.
