Job summary

Personal Healthcare Management LLC is seeking a dedicated recreation associate to implement activities and support residents in a community setting. You will help create decorations, schedule movies, plan parties, and coordinate games to foster social engagement.

The role emphasizes encouraging participation, organizing crafts and events, and documenting resident activities while working closely with caregivers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to plan and coordinate recreational activities.
• Willingness to train and learn procedures.

• Implement Recreation procedures as directed by the Recreation Director by creating decorations, setting up equipment, crafts, and award prizes.
• Assist in scheduling movies, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents.
• Encourage participation in recreational activities and organize games, crafts, religious services, and parties.
• Complete required documentation in residents' medical records.

Essential Functions

• Implement Recreation procedures as directed by the Recreation Director by creating decorations, setting up necessary equipment, creating ceramics, needlework, woodwork and other crafts, escorting residents to and from Recreation area, and awarding prizes.
• Assist in scheduling movies, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents.
• Encourage residents to participate in recreational social activities so that all residents are involved in activities by engaging in and organizing games, crafts, religious services, parties, etc.

• Assist in-room residents by visiting with them, writing letters, running errands, making appointments, etc., as necessary.
• Participate and guide individual, and/or group, re-motivation and reality orientation sessions to promote the worth, self-esteem and reality level of the residents.
• Complete required documentation as directed in the resident’s medical record.
