Job summary

First Steps Recovery LLC. in California is seeking a Transportation Lead to coordinate client transport, manage schedules, and ensure safe vehicle operation.

You will maintain records, assist with facility tasks, and support a compassionate recovery-focused team in a non-exempt, part-time role. Experience driving and a clean driving record are preferred; CPR/First Aid and applicable licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task, delegate tasks, manage client care, and maintain facility standards.
• Desire to assist those with chemical dependency in their recovery.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe driving practices and all traffic laws.
• Safely transport clients to and from appointments, and pickup/deliver supplies.
• Load and unload vehicles as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance.
• Keep interiors and exteriors of company vehicles clean.
• Assist with facility maintenance and errands as assigned.
• Provide general support to visitors and maintain confidentiality.
