Job summary

Recovery in Motion is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in delivering substance use disorder treatment services. You will monitor clients, assist with intake and orientation, administer medications, and maintain precise documentation in compliance with program policies.

Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks, ensuring client safety, providing transportation when needed, and participating in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Complete background study.
• Know Minnesota statutes 245G.01–245G.22, 245A.65, 260E, 626.557, 626.5572 and comply with regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to become within 30 days.
• Must have a valid MN driver’s license.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Physical ability to perform duties (bend, stoop, lift at least 30 lbs).
• Be highly dependable; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set priorities in monitoring clients, conduct house rounds and document pertinent information.
• Regularly check company emails and program calendar.
• Maintain current knowledge of the program and client activities.
• Be available to clients for questions and assistance.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintain knowledge of program policies, procedures, and client confidentiality.
