Job summary

Compass Health Network Behavioral Technician is sought for overnight shifts at Clinton—Community Drive, Building 1. The role supports recovery in residential substance use programs, with a salary of $19.00 per hour and a 32-hour weekly schedule (12:00am1:00am).

Youll monitor client safety, assist with education, medication logging, and crisis response, while providing compassionate care to individuals on the path to healing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Compassionate, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to ethical care.
• Valid, unrestricted drivers license required.
• Must obtain a Missouri Class E drivers license within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance during recovery-focused group education sessions.
• Monitor and ensure client safety through ongoing supervision.
• Assist with medication logging and observation of self-administration.
• Transport clients as needed driving is a key part of this role
• Support new client orientation and documentation.
• Respond effectively to crises and participate in regular safety drills.
• Conduct and process urine drug screenings.

As a Behavioral Technician, (Internal title: Addiction Recovery Technician) you’ll play a vital, hands‑on role in our inpatient and outpatient substance use treatment programs. You’ll ensure client safety, offer encouragement, and support recovery through daily structure, observation, and compassionate care.
