Job summary

Chestnut Health Systems Inc. is seeking a part-time Client Care Technician / Specialist in Maryville, IL to provide recovery-focused, trauma-informed support to residents of residential and crisis services.

You will empower clients toward hope, wellness, and independence while helping maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, working with a multidisciplinary team and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with interest in social services.
• Bachelor’s degree or five years related experience, or CRSS/CPRS certification.
• CADC certification within two years of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in a team.
• Experience in peer recovery, mental health, substance use, or social services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide the Recovery Journey by observing progress and reporting on personal goals.
• Promote a recovery-first mindset with trauma-informed care and supportive language.
• Lead daily activities with the clinical team and maintain routine flow.
• Assist with mealtime and wellness, including supervising medication as needed.
