Job summary

Community and Family Resources in Fort Dodge is seeking a Treatment Specialist to assist the clinical counseling staff and medical staff with providing addiction rehabilitation services to adult clients in our Women's Residential unit. Lived experience is not a requirement, but those with lived experience are encouraged to apply.

The role is full-time with a schedule of 5 days per week, including every other weekend and some holidays, and may involve both 1st and 2nd shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Medication Management Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment is required.
• A valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in completing necessary assessment forms and documents.
• Orient clients to program services and provide oversight of client whereabouts and behaviors.
• Offer feedback and support to clients and report issues to staff.
• Assist with light housekeeping, including cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities as directed by supervisor.
• Conduct rounds of the facility and assist with follow-up surveys and data entry.

Education
